And my imagination came out to play. A little bit more and I’ve have created a Pinterest board for my dream wedding. So instead of that, imagine with me😆

1. Location;

Now, my dream location is either a garden or a small Anglican Church.

Small church cause if you have gone for chapel weddings, the pews are usually so scanty that the photographer has to work overtime with camera angles or even skip out the chapel pictures and move to the reception. I don’t want that.

If I have a church wedding, I want a small chapel with a full crowd, where everyone stands when the doors are opening for my entrance with a pianist or organ player setting the proper mood.

It’s my day, live in the moment blah blah blah but the pictures and videos have to be crisp and solid✨

2. Next, my dress!

I’m not for the unconventional virus, it’s either a white dress or nothing. No off-white, cream, pink, black, nothing! Just white and it has to be an Alonuko dress.

I must wear one of their dresses and it’s going to be free cause why not. I’d probably be famous so, if my wedding has sponsors, I’ll milk the cow to my satisfaction😂. They will also be taking care of my after party dress. So instead of Chanel, it’ll be Alonuko😎

3. Number of guests:

I’ve never been one for crowd and my wedding will not be a concert. (Hopefully my African mom will oblige 😂, so this section is still under review) I’d love an intimate ceremony with quality experience.  No unnecessary crowd, just people that matter.

4. My friends:

If you misplaced your videography/influencer type skills, you will have to revive it that day because I need videos from everyone’s point of view. See, as you’re eating at the reception, be editing your videos and posting/sending to me. I’m only getting married once, make it memorable for me and you😙

Asides this, you have to turn up!!! The energy has to be felt at the rooftops. The drip is eternal obviously but if it’ll stop you from bringing the ginger and spraying me some pounds and dollarsss, Wear a robe or bring changing party clothes. This is not a joke, this is serious wedding business, let us have undiluted fun or nothing😙.

5. Master of ceremony:

Whoever this person is going to be, will be interviewed days before, the DJ inclusive😂. Don’t come to my wedding and act classless (in bobrisky’s voice). Come correct with the ginger and spice😌. I’m trying to have a great time and who knows, my husband can even tip you extra for the good work😂

6. My Parents, Siblings and Big Spenders🤑:

Save the smaller gifts till my birthday. A reminder that this is a wedding, come big😎. You see that presentation of gifts, someone should take care of my honeymoon, next person should add a house or land to the list (give me something that appreciates overtime, something I can get money from, gift me some shares even). Don’t think small, I don’t want household items, they’ll spoil or get thrown away eventually. Think big!!! Don’t say I didn’t tell you.

7. My man, my man, my man😂;

Whoever you’re going to be, better come richer and correct, cause we’re supposed to match each other’s energy. I love you in advance 😂❤️.

To my motivational speakers/ unsolicited advisors that will say, a wedding is just a party before marriage, blah blah blah, did I beg you? I have to start WELL✌️

I purposely refused to imagine my traditional marriage because the imagination will not be contained. They’re just too many options 😂.

Recap🤪

The anniversary sales sucked all my time last week and this week was hectic but fun😂.

“Kante” from Timeless album is still on repeat and I can’t wait for Queen Charlotte’s story to drop on Netflix in 3 days💃💃💃.

Is it just me or is this year going by quickly? Tomorrow is literally May 1st, summer is almost upon us and the body is pending😂.
